This image is an example of radial symmetry. The image grows from the middle outward and covers the entire photo. This is a good example of balance in graphic design. The image is symmetrical top to bottom and right to left. The same colors are used around each circle.
This is a good example of closure. No lines outline the dog's body but because of the closure principle you can tell it is a dog. The brain is filling in what is missing. The image could also be an example of dominance. The dog is the dominant element because there is emphasis. The yellow circles are the secondary or sub-dominant element. The circles are in the middle ground of the image.
